You and Your Bump : Simple Steps to Pregnancy Wellbeing
Author(s): Emma Cannon
A handbook to help pregnant women nourish body and mind with a Chinese/Western medicine fusion approach, for a healthy, happy pregnancy and motherhood
Blending the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine with conventional Western medical practice, this guide by a complementary fertility specialist is the perfect companion for preconception, pregnancy, and the postnatal period. It offers advice to help mothers-to-be prepare for labor and post-birth as well as solutions to pregnancy-related conditions. Gently taking readers through each stage of pregnancy, it discusses general health and lifestyle, good nutrition, and the link between emotions and physical health; baby development and changes to the mother's body; common pregnancy conditions and treatments, with both Eastern and Western approaches; and how dads can help at each stage.
